Advanced Speaking Lesson – Causative Verbs – 45 minutes

In this student-centered lesson, first students discover the rules for causative verbs by completing some guided discovery activities. Then they complete two speaking activities in partners to reinforce causative verbs. The lesson will take 45 minutes.

  1. Rosie has her mother cut her hair.

Remember that in causative sentence the verbs let/make/have/get take the tense (for example, am havingwill get, haven’t made, etc.).
